- Design
-
Through an on-site visit or a careful review of architectural
plans, we develop a plan for your home theater, stereo system, or
whole-house audio system. We verify the suitability of the construction,
the availability of electrical service, paths for wiring, existence and
location of existing equipment, and all necessary dimensions. In
reviewing a room for potential uses as a home theater, we also review
insulation, furniture plans, and lighting control. Using your requirements
and preferences we plan the location of speakers throughout the house,
in selected rooms, or outside—near the pool or
patio. Controls are placed for convenience in changing source material
and volume.
- Installation
-
Our install team uses the design plan to place equipment,
install speakers and volume controls, install necessary wiring and
cabling, install video equipment, and connect and test all functions.
- Calibration
-
Once the install team has completed its work, our ISF-certified calibration
expert again verifies the proper operation of all pieces of equipment.
He tests any remote controllers to verify their correct functioning. He
makes minor adjustments in positioning of equipment and speakers to
achieve optimum sound and video. He uses sophisticated test equipment
and software to calibrate the sound system to industry HAA specifications
and to your listening environment. He uses similar software to adjust
your video system to industry specifications, to your specific room
environment, and to your preferences.
